The group stage of the Libertadores came to an end this Thursday with the definition of the last classified in the round of 16. Among the Brazilians, Inter lost 2-1 to the Universidad Católica, in Chile, and still advanced to second place in Group E.
Grêmio, who already entered the classified field, drew 1-1 with América de Cali, in the Arena, and finished first in the same group.

In addition to the tricolor gaucho, Atlético, Flamengo, Palmeiras and Santos qualified with an advance round. São Paulo, despite a 5-1 victory over Binacional on Tuesday, was already eliminated in Group D.

The draw for the second round of the Libertadores and the change of the other phases will take place this Friday, starting at 12:00 hours (Brasilia time), with real-time monitoring by give.
The 16 qualified teams will be divided into two pots to define the matches. In pot 1, they are the first placed in each group and, in pot 2, the second. Matches will be played in a round-trip format, with the second match in first place.
The final of the Libertadores will be in a single match, in Maracaná, in Rio de Janeiro, at the end of January 2021.
