‘Let’s dance with everyone’, says Guedes on possible change in the presidency of the United States | economy

Asked about the issue, Guedes compared international politics to a “party” to which Brazil was late and, therefore, would have to “dance” with everyone.

“We are going to dance with everyone, because we are late to the party. Nor are we going to overestimate the political factor when it should not be overestimated. Brazil’s growth dynamics depend on us,” he said.

“The change in the United States, eventually, and the data indicates that it is close to happening, does not affect our growth dynamics. In particular with regard to the United States, we were and will continue to work with everyone, ”he said.

The statements were made at a private banking event, broadcast over the internet. Still, according to Paulo Guedes, Brazil depends on itself to restart the economy, and not on relations with trade partners or oscillations on the global stage.
