Léo Moura believes that coach Abel Ferreira will work at Palmeiras. The Botafogo-PB right-back played with Verdão’s new coach at Sporting Braga in Portugal in 2004. Both were coached by Jesualdo Ferreira, who managed Santos in early 2020.

– Abel has always been a very dedicated athlete, a natural competitor. That guy who really doesn’t like to lose isn’t satisfied. I think you’ll do a good job. Palmeiras is a qualified team. And one guy to be chosen by Palmeiras is that in Europe he did a great job – said Léo Moura, in an interview with Caioba Game Show.

In addition to Léo Moura, this Monday’s program also receives coach Joel Santana, starting at 7pm, in ge.

Abel Ferreira landed in Guarulhos this Monday morning to take the place that was that of Vanderlei Luxemburg in Palmeiras. The coach will be at the Allianz Parque to witness the match against Atlético-MG, this Monday, at 5:00 p.m., for Brasileirão.

Léo Moura understands that Abel will have to find the balance between using the guys from the base and the more experienced ones on the squad. Bet the new manager will adopt a more offensive scheme.

– There is no use putting children too much. You must have the most experienced players. When the potato begins to roast, the children cannot hold it. He was always a guy who attacked a lot, playing very hard. Of course, it will preserve the defense, but I think Palmeiras has players to advance the team, to give work to the rival – said Leo, who played for Verdão in 2002.
