Space Jam: a new legacy will hit theaters 25 years after the feature film starring Michael Jordan. In the new movie, the Looney Tunes will face a new threat on the courts, this time from the hand of LeBron James, considered one of the best basketball players today.
In addition to James, Space Jam: A New Legacy will also feature Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard, Klay Thompson and WNBA players Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwimike and Chiney Ogwumike. More NBA and WNBA players are expected to be confirmed soon. Actress Sonequa Martin-Green will play LeBron’s wife in the feature film.
The original feature film starred Michael Jordan and featured athletes such as Patrick Ewing and Charles Barkley.
With direction Malcolm D. Lee and script by Ryan coogler (Black Panther) e Sev ohanian, Space jam 2 is scheduled for release in July 2021.
