The value target, set to help the family buy their own home, was reached this Thursday morning (Day 1), less than 24 hours after the cow opened.

The story of João Bernardo, nine years old, went viral on social networks after his mother, Daiana Campiolo, shared messages in which the boy negotiated the purchase of a house worth R $ 110,000 in Sergipe through a mobile application.

In the exchange of messages, João Bernardo offered R $ 50 a month because, according to him, he did not have “that much money.”

The kitten was created by a group of volunteers with the permission of the family.

“We are still without reaction, we can’t even believe it,” Daiana said.

According to her, the boy has had the dream of the family having a home of their own since his father died two years ago.

After the loss, the family faced financial difficulties, had to leave the house where they lived and move to a kitchenette.

“I’m not talking about it, because he’s just a kid, he doesn’t have to have that kind of worry, but it’s something he thinks about a lot after this trauma,” he said.

The person in charge of the kitten on the internet, Jéssica Souza, said she sympathized with the family after seeing the child’s concern.

“At first it seems like a funny and curious story of a boy naively trying to buy a house, but when we saw the concerns behind it, we decided to help,” he said.

For João Bernardo’s mother, the “plug has not yet fallen.” “My kids are already thinking about the house, about how our lives can change, but I can’t even believe it,” she said.

According to Daiana, in addition to the money raised, the family is receiving messages of affection. “We have received so many good messages these days that I cannot even thank you. There is no word to define what we are feeling,” she said.
