TO Belo Horizonte City Council published in the media this Saturday (03/13) do Official Director of the Municipality (JUDGMENT) to decree which further restricts the Business activity of the city and locates the mining capital in the largest enclosure since the pandemic of COVID-19, A year ago.
Some measures are already in force as of this Saturday, such as the closure of parks and hiking trails, while others will take effect on Monday (03/15). The civil construction trade (retail), foreign language and dance courses, snack cars, services with open churches and convenience stores at gas stations are some of those affected by the new decree.
Since last Saturday (03/06), only essential services can operate in the city, this being the fourth trade closure in BH since March 2020, with the start of the pandemic. A new advance in the coronavirus motivated the actions taken by the city.
BH arrived this Friday (03/12) to 122,302 confirmed diagnoses of COVID-19: 2,885 deaths, 6,355 patients in follow-up and 113,062 recovered. Compared to the previous balance, there were 16 more deaths and 1,465 cases.
The transmission rate of the new coronavirus broke a record for the second day in a row in Belo Horizonte this Friday. According to the city’s epidemiological and healthcare bulletin, the indicator stands at 1.25 and remains in the critical zone of the risk scale.
This means that out of every 100 infected in BH, another 125 people become victims of the pandemic. Last Thursday’s bulletin (03/11), another record, attested a rate of 1.22.
