  • The decree suspends, indefinitely, face-to-face service to the public in commercial establishments; delivery remains released.
  • The following establishments may operate: pharmacies; supermarkets, markets, fishmongers, fruit and vegetable fairs, fruits and vegetables, greengrocers, bakeries (and the like); stores that sell animal products; stores that sell mineral water; stores that sell gasoline; gas stations for filling vehicles;
  • Hotels, inns, pensions, hostels, vacation rental apartments and the like will not be able to make new accommodations and / or reservations as of this Thursday, indefinitely.

The city council of Búzios stated that the decision “leads the municipality to immediately react with flexibility”, in relation to the operation and opening of the city, since Decree 1,366 promotes the closure of beaches, sports fields, commercial establishments and hotels, inns and other means of lodging. Restaurants can only operate on a delivery system and only stores that provide essential services, such as pharmacies, markets, fruits and vegetables, bakeries, animal products stores, gas and mineral water distributors are allowed, respecting the maximum occupancy of 30 people. % of its capacity.

The municipality also said it will comply with the court order, while the legal department looks at any appeals.
