The Pará State Court of Justice (TJ-PA) today decided to block the assets and retain the passports of the partners of the company that sold 152 defective respirators to the government of Pará. The information was disclosed by Governor Helder Barbalho (MDB-PA) on social networks.

“Guys, we have just received a court decision blocking the assets of the partners who sold the respirators to our state, in addition to withholding passports so that they cannot leave Brazil,” Barbalho announced on Twitter.

The decision, signed by Judge Rosana Lúcia de Canelas Bastos, considers that SKN do Brasil “delivered a different respiratory system to the object of the contract made by the state”, not serving to help in the treatment of people infected with the new coronavirus.

“I give the emergency help required to determine the blockage […] “of the existing financial assets owned by the accused, as well as his partners listed in the initial,” wrote the judge. “Finally, I issue the preliminary order to determine the suspension of the passport of the physical persons of the accused’s partners,” he continued.

Remember the case

“Immediately, when these products arrived, we asked the technicians of the Ministry of Health, together with physiotherapists and doctors, to install and verify each equipment and it was investigated that they would not provide fundamental services to save lives,” Barbalho reported on the networks. social.
