Initially, the resumption of training for team sports in Italy would only be authorized from May 18. Only the individual modalities will be released on Monday. But several regions decided last Saturday to respond to requests from clubs, mainly soccer, and authorize the opening of training centers to allow players to exercise. The activities must be outdoors, respecting the measures of social distance and without the presence of an audience.

– Athletes, professional or not, from individual disciplines or not, can, like all citizens, exercise in public or private spaces, respecting the rules of social distance of at least two meters, as well as the prohibition of any agglomeration. – says the decree of the Italian Ministry of the Interior.

Several clubs, such as Rome, Parma, Bologna and Sassuolo, announced their intention to open their CT so that players can re-train during this week. The 20 Italian Serie A clubs have confirmed their plan to end the season, but the country’s sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora warned that the path “is narrowing.”
