On Monday (04), the first business day of the year, began with a strike at the garages of the Transcol System in Grande Vitória. According to information from road workers, the union representatives of the category are at the exits of the garages to prevent the vehicles from leaving without the presence of the collectors.
The action had already been announced in recent days. In a statement that circulated on social networks, the Road Workers Union called on all the collectors to report to the service at their respective companies at 4 in the morning this morning. The category has already promised that the vehicles would not leave the garages without the presence of the professional, absent since May 2020.
At one company, located in the São Francisco neighborhood of Cariacica, drivers used an alternative route to get the buses out of the garage. In other companies, only air-conditioned buses and minibuses are launched, which already operate without charges.
