The 15-year-old teenager involved in the death of her friend Isabele Guimarães Ramos, 14, in July, was arrested on Tuesday night (15) in Cuiabá (MT). In the decision, Judge Cristiane Padim da Silva, of the Second Juvenile and Adolescent Court of Cuiabá, determined the detention of the girl for 45 days. The information is from the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo.

The magistrate accepted the request of the State Prosecutor’s Office requesting the adolescent’s hospitalization for an offense analogous to qualified homicide. According to authorities, the teenager showed up at the police station around 8 pm. She must be transferred to the Pomeri complex, for adolescent offenders.

According to the Statute for Children and Adolescents (ECA), the limit for this type of hospitalization is up to three years. The adolescent’s defense has not yet ruled on the arrest. The police investigation that investigated the death of the minor lasted more than 50 days and ended on September 2.

The delegate in the case, Wagner Bassi, understood that the minor assumed the risk of death and prosecuted her for an offense analogous to intentional homicide. The girl’s father, mother, boyfriend and father-in-law were also prosecuted.

For Bassi, she was properly trained in the use of firearms, since she had been training sport shooting for months, mastering the rules and techniques of weapon safety, as well as the conditions to know if the weapon was equipped or not.
