Iranian Government Denies Death of Al Qaeda No. 2 | World

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, the Iranians accuse the United States and Israel of leaking lies about the actions of terrorist groups in the Middle East.

“From time to time, Washington and Tel Aviv attempt to link Iran to such groups by lying and leaking false information to the media to avoid responsibility for the criminal activities of that group and other terrorist groups in the region,” the ministry said.
