The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) issued a cumulative rain warning for 37 municipalities in Espírito Santo, including cities in the South, Serrana and Grande Vitória regions. The notice is valid until 11 pm on Tuesday (06).
According to Inmet, there is a risk of accumulation of rain with potential danger, with rains between 20 to 30 mm per hour or up to 50 mm per day. There is a low risk of floods and small landslides in cities with such risk areas.
The guidelines of the Institute are that the population should avoid facing bad weather, observe changes in the slopes, avoid the use of electronic devices connected to the electrical outlet and obtain more information from the Civil Defense (telephone 199) and the Fire Department (telephone 193 ).
