Retirees, pensioners or beneficiaries of sickness benefits and other programs of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) to be aware. It turns out that the Federal Council of Justice (CJF) authorized the late payment 74 thousand beneficiaries, with values that can reach up to R $ 62,700.

What are arrears?
The so-called “INSS arrears” is a form of payment (judicially), called Small Value Requisition (RPV).
Every month, the Justice releases new batches of back payments to the beneficiaries of the INSS. This deposit occurs up to two months before payments made by the government, when the amount will, in fact, be available for withdrawal.
Who is entitled to payment of arrears?
But, who is entitled to the INSS arrears? Every insured from the municipality has the money to request a review of the INSS benefit. Whoever wins the lawsuit will receive the arrears. The value refers to the waiting period.
Therefore, the calculation is made considering a period of five years before the order and the period until the correction.
Anyone requesting a review at the INSS must request it at the agency and then submit the request to the court.
It should be mentioned that for actions worth up to 60 minimum wages, it is not necessary to hire a lawyer. If the beneficiary is entitled to arrears, she can check the withdrawal date by accessing the website responsible for TRF and checking her request.
