Inmet (National Institute of Meteorology) issued a storm warning over much of Mato Grosso do Sul. The warning began at 12 noon on Monday (19) and is expected to end at 11 am on Tuesday (20) .
According to Inmet, much of Mato Grosso do Sul is on yellow alert. According to the institute, rains between 30 and 60 mm / h or 50 and 100 mm / day can occur, with intense winds (60-100 km / h), and hail.
The orange color of the alert indicates danger. INMET classifies this type of alert as a dangerous meteorological situation. The warning strip runs from the east to west of the state and also passes through the northern region.
Inmet recommends avoiding sheltering under trees to avoid the risk of falls and electrical shock, as well as parking vehicles near transmission towers and billboards. Also, the institute suggests not using electrical appliances plugged into the outlet.
