A serious accident on the BR-470 in Blumenau, registered on the night of this Sunday, the 27th, left three people dead and another 17 injured. The victims were identified as Alessandra Loch, 21, her boyfriend Gabriel Alves, 24, and her cousin Roger Loch, 21.

All were residents of Indaial and were in a Fiat Pálio that collided on the right side of the front of a tourist van, with the signs for Balneário Camboriú, which was going in the opposite direction.

In addition to them, a third young woman, Roger’s girlfriend, was injured and sent to the hospital. There were 19 people in the van, including the driver who was not injured. In total, 16 people were transferred to hospitals in the region to receive medical attention.

Fire Department / Disclosure

According to a report from the Fire Department, the canopy lost control, ran down the track and then collided with the Fiat Ducato van. The track was wet from the rain, but at the time of the collision it was not raining. In addition, the section where the accident occurred, at km 63 of the road, in the Badenfurt neighborhood, had no curves or fog.

Several agencies and vehicles were summoned to support the accident, including the Fire Department, Samu, Indaial Volunteer Firefighter, Federal Highway Police, Military Police, Blumenau Municipal Traffic Guard and Salvamed. With the collision, traffic on BR-470 was closed.
