The young woman died after falling off the shore on Joaquina beach, in Florianópolis, is Bruna da Silva Fernandes. The identity was confirmed by the Medical Legal Institute (IML), and the 22-year-old was born in Diadema – SP. Until 5 p.m. on Friday, the body was waiting for the family to release it.

According to firefighters, Bruna was found drowning grade 6 and without vital signs, approximately 70 meters from the shore. They took her out of the sea and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was attempted, without success.
The girl who managed to get out of the water told rescuers that the two came from Minas Gerais and that they were camping on the shore of Joaquina Beach.
