Íbis did not forgive Goiás after the 3-0 loss to São Paulo on Thursday night. Self-proclaimed the “worst team in the world”, the Pernambuco club achieved good results in recent months and took the opportunity to put Esmeraldino in.
In response to a Goiás post on Twitter about the end of the match, Íbis said that he “did not learn” how to lose and, ironically, asked Verdão for advice on getting back on the path of defeat.
Goiás has only 16 points and is the flashlight of the Brasileirão for several rounds. As the match against São Paulo was the last delayed match in the first round, the Emerald Club “finished” the first half of Serie A with just 12 points. In 23 matches, he won only three.
Goiás’ next appointment is the classic against Atlético-GO, on Monday (7), at 8 pm (Brasilia time), at the Antônio Accioly stadium.
