SÃO PAULO – Eleven people drowned on the coast and in the metropolitan region of São Paulo during the long celebration of the Independence of Brazil. According to the Fire Department, at 17:04 on Monday, another body was found in Rio de Tietê, near the Freguesia do Ó Bridge, in Barra Funda, in São Paulo. The body, apparently male, was pulled out of the water and handed over to the police.
