Herzem Gusmão, from the BMD, was re-elected this Sunday (29), in the second round of the municipal elections, mayor of Vitória da Conquista, a city in the southwest of Bahia, for the next four years. Until 7:31 p.m., Herzem Gusmão had 54.71% of the votes, considering himself mathematically re-elected. There were 92,797 votes not total.

The candidate defeated Zé Raimundo, who finished second with 45.29% (76,823 votes).
The election in Vitória da Conquista had 18.14% abstention, 1.26% white votes and 3.44% invalid votes.
“The first place is to thank God, the people of Conquista. I understand that Conquista approved our government. A management with strategic planning, with so many wonderful achievements, for which Conquista approved that we continue for one more term. Now it will be much easier than the first, I want to thank God, the people of the Conquest, city and country, for our victory, ”said the re-elected mayor, Herzem.
Herzem Gusmão is 72 years old, married, has a complete superior and declares the occupation of mayor to the TSE. It has a declared equity of R $ 153,661.10.
The vice is Sheila Lemos from DEM, who is 48 years old. Both are part of the coalition “The work has to continue”, made up of the Republican parties, PTB, MDB, Pode, PMB, PSDB and DEM.
