The rains on Sunday 27 caused damage to the coast of Santa Catarina. After the meteorological alert issued by the Civil Defense, some municipalities were affected and occurrences of floods and landslides were recorded.
The floods were registered in Porto Belo, Balneário Camboriú, Bombinhas, Florianópolis and Barra Velha.
According to the Civil Defense of Bombinhas, the municipality was one of the most affected in the region. According to Epagri, in the last 24 hours it rained 163 mm in the city.
In Florianópolis, the north of the island was one of the most affected areas. There are records of houses and streets flooded by the rains.

The Civil Defense issued a new alert for heavy rains in some regions of Santa Catarina. Storms associated with heavy rains are expected, with the risk of flooding, runoff and landslides. The notice, which is valid for this Monday 28, informs that the volume of water must be above 100 millimeters.
