The heavy rains this afternoon (13) caused flooding in the city of São Paulo – on Avenida Santo Amaro, in the Campo Belo neighborhood – and in Osasco, Carapicuíba and Barueri, in Greater São Paulo. The São Paulo Fire Department reported the collapse of a wall in Osasco and another in Vargem Grande Paulista.

The CGE (Center for Climate Emergency Management) issued an alert for floods in the city of São Paulo. The west, north, central and marginal Tietê and Pinheiros areas should be taken into account due to heavy rains.
Areas of instability in Sorocaba operate with great intensity in Cotia, reaching the capital. There is the possibility of gusts of wind and flooding. The weather should be unstable for the next few hours.
Some simple measures can minimize the effects of flooding, such as: avoiding traffic on flooded streets; in case of floods, do not face the current; Stay away from the power grid and do not stop under trees, take shelter in houses and buildings.
Temperature in the next few days
On Saturday (14), the sun appears between clouds, favoring the rise in temperatures, which must be maintained with a minimum of 18 ºC and a maximum above 29 ºC.
Follow Sunday (15) with sun and high temperatures. The thermometers vary between a minimum of 19ºC and a maximum that can exceed 31ºC.
