The fight for the inheritance of Gugu liberato, a presenter who died in November last year, the victim of a domestic accident, has won a new chapter. According to the program information ‘Fantastic‘, gives TV Globo, shown this Sunday (27), Rose miriam, mother of Gugu’s children, and who intends to prove the stable union in Justice, presented a new document to try to prove this union, and thus have the right to the inheritance left by him.
In 2016, in order for Rose Miriam and her children to obtain the Green Card to reside in the United States, Gugu wrote a document in which she said that the businesswoman was her partner (the word used in English was “partner”). “I have a partner of many years, who is the mother of our three children. […] I gave $ 555,000 for my partner’s personal use […] I declare that the foregoing is true and correct, as far as I know, under penalty of perjury, ”the document says.
Rose Miriam’s defense, represented by attorney Nelson Wilians, says the document, which was translated into a Brazilian registry and delivered to the courts, would be the “Holy Grail” of the case. “This is the Holy Grail of evidence. She declares in this document, under penalty of perjury, that she was her lifelong companion ”, said the lawyer to ‘Fantástico’.
Nelson Wilians also indicated that he will request the annulment of a will and that he will submit an asset reserve request to ensure that part of Gugu’s will is not spent before the outcome of the process.
Also according to the report of the TV Globo program, the defense of the Gugu family says that the document presented is old and that any interpretation or distorted translation of reality cannot give credibility to the stable union thesis.
