Palmeiras will take to the field this Wednesday, at 9:30 p.m. (Brasilia time), against Guaraní, at the Defensores del Chaco stadium, in Asunción, seeking to guarantee advanced classification for the second round of the Libertadores.
Leader of group B of the competition, with 100% success in three games played, Verdão only needs a simple victory to take the place. That’s because Tigre and Bolívar tied this Tuesday in Argentina.
Guaraní, owner of the best attack of the Libertadores, with 17 goals scored (counting the elimination phases), seeks to touch the rival this Wednesday. In second place in the group, with six points, the Paraguayan team equals Palmeiras in the lead if they manage to win.
