On loan from Palmeiras to play Serie B with Guaraní, midfielder Alan Guimarães suffered a serious injury this morning, in a match against América-MG, in Independência.

São Paulo champion 2020 with Palmeiras, Alanzinho had bad luck and suffered a kick from Leo Passos, another calf from the Palmeiras Academy, who plays for the Minas Gerais team, and fractured the tibia and fibula in his left leg. Guaraní announced that he underwent an operation and wished the athlete strength.

Alan was treated promptly and Leo Passos, his colleague at the Palmeiras base, accompanied him until the ambulance took the young man out of the field.

Born into futsal alviverde, the boy has been a constant presence in the base teams and has titles with both Hopscotch and Verdão. His name has already been speculated in European giants like Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Alanzinho recently renewed his contract with Palmeiras until 2023, and has a termination fine of 50 million euros (at the current price, around R $ 300 million).
