HE Guild announced on Friday night the hiring of left-back Diogo Barbosa, from Palms.

The left back signed until December 2023, and comes to dispute a position with Cortez in the Immortal.
To keep the winger, Grêmio paid R $ 10 million for 25% of the rights that Verdão has for the athlete (50% total).
There is also a clause in the contract that gives the Rio Grande do Sul team the option to acquire an additional 25% of the athlete for 1.5 million euros (R $ 9.4 million, at the current price).
Diogo was hired by Palmeiras do Cruzeiro at the end of 2017.
In just over two years in Palestra Itália, he was the 2018 Brazilian champion and the 2020 Paulistão champion.

Born in Terra Nova do Norte / MT, Diogo Barbosa Mendanha revealed himself in the base categories of Vila Nova, Goiânia, but turned professional in Vasco da Gama in 2010. Before donning the Palmeiras jersey, from 2017 to 2020, went through Sport / PE, Guarani / SP, Coritiba, Atlético / GO, Goiás, Botafogo and Cruzeiro. In the latter, he won the Copa do Brasil title in 2017. With the Palmeirense jersey, Diogo Barbosa lifted the trophies of the 2018 Brazilian Championship, the Florida Cup and this year’s Paulista Championship.
The player should be officially presented in the next few days, after medical examinations.
