The Government of Paraná announced, on Tuesday (15), that as of February 18, 2021, education in the state network will work in the hybrid model, with classes divided in a relay between students in the classroom and remote classes.
The planning was informed in a press conference attended by the governor of Paraná, Ratinho Junior (PSD), the Minister of Education, Milton Ribeiro, and the Secretary of Education of the state, Renato Feder.

The secretary Feder pointed out that the classes will be divided according to the capacity of each classroom to receive the students, obeying the distance between them.
Preferably, according to him, students who do not have the necessary technology at home will go to school.
“The limit of students will be given by the distance proposed by the State Health Secretariat (Sesa), of 1.5 meters. The others follow the class from their homes. They watch their class, with their teacher live, and the teacher can also see their faces, ”he said.
According to the governor, educational institutions must follow hygiene care, with availability of alcohol gel, mandatory use of masks and distance.
“This planning responds to a need. The idea is to create a model that provides peace of mind to students and teachers. In 2020 we managed to make a distance education model that was a model for Brazil,” he said.
The Secretary of Education also said that student participation in the hybrid system will not be mandatory. Only parents and guardians who wish will have students in the relay, while those who do not wish, must participate remotely.
Students who do not have access to technology, who will have priority to attend classes in person, must continue to carry out activities in printed material if they do not want or cannot go to school.
The investment to offer the hybrid system in the state school system will be R $ 70 million, with computers, cameras, televisions and other equipment, according to Ratinho Junior.
