The provisional measure published on Thursday establishes up to four monthly installments, paid until December 31, regardless of the number of installments received. Who was not in the program, can no longer enter. The registration period ended in July, but not all who are going to stay.

Those who:

– got a formal job after receiving the aid;

– received social security benefits, such as retirement or death pension, after receiving aid;

– Received taxable income higher than R $ 28,559.70 last year. Before, the reference year was 2018, because the IRS database was out of date;

– who had, as of December 31, 2019, possession or ownership of goods or rights for a total amount greater than R $ 300 thousand.

The deputy also specified that those who live abroad are excluded and made it clear that prisoners in a closed regime will not be able to receive the next deliveries of aid either.

According to the government, almost 22,000 people are still waiting for the registry analysis to receive the aid of the first installment.

The economist Marcelo Neri says that maintaining aid is important from the social point of view and that the lowest value is possible at this time of fiscal restriction: “It is a combination of a realistic measure, because it respects fiscal responsibility. Even with a cut, R $ 25 billion per month, and at the same time income is being transferred to the people who need it during the pandemic ”.
