Google Hangouts got new features

Like other video conferencing platforms, Google Hangouts Meet saw its users grow exponentially and it wasn’t long before Google made the decision to capitalize on another product. On Wednesday (22), the company launched new resources to optimize the use of the service.

Enhancements include a tiled design with more zoom, a night mode for night calls, and the ability to use a single Chrome guide for the platform, without the need for a separate web window to function.

Javier Soltero, executive of G Suite, a Google service that offers customizable versions of its products, had already announced the news last week. Now the funds are being released to users.

Unlike the others, dark mode hits mobile devices first, hitting the web only later.

There’s also the built-in noise canceling feature, which will only be officially announced in the coming weeks.
