Ceará and Goiás met for the 12th round of the Brasileirão 2020 this Sunday night (27) at Arena Castelão, in Fortaleza, Ceará. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, with goals from Rafael Moura, Charles, Vina and David Duarte.
With the result, Ceará adds 14 points and falls one place, occupying position 12 in the table. Goiás reached nine points with a tie and goal difference, overtook Bahía and left the championship bluff.
In the next round, Ceará travels to São Paulo to face Palmeiras, in a match played on Saturday (3). Goiás will receive Santos at home for the clash that takes place on Sunday (4).
Who got it right: Vina
The midfield from Ceará commanded the pressure on the rival and finished several times in the goal of Tadeu. Despite being caught offside at least three times, he finally managed to hit the ball and score the return goal for his team.
Who was wrong: Vinícius
The Goiás forward barely touched the ball during the game and did little to keep his team ahead. With a poor performance, Vinícius was replaced in the second half by Douglas Baggio, which made Esmeraldino improve his performance a bit.
