Enderson Moreira is back in Goiás and as soon as Thiago Larghi has left, the Emerald board has already agreed to return the coach, who will turn 49 this Monday. Enderson was the last in the Cruzeiro.
This will be the coach’s third visit to Verdão. At the end of 2011, when the team was in the second division, the coach took over, released the team from relegation and, the following year, was champion of Serie B. In 2013, Goiás finished Serie A in sixth place.

In 2016, in his second stint with the Emerald team, Enderson Moreira was unsuccessful. He was champion of Goiás over Anápolis, on penalties, but he fell in the first phase of the Brazil Cup against River-PI and the Serie B dispute started badly.
In 2020, the coach started the season in Ceará, but left the black team for Cruzeiro, where he was fired after 12 games.
Goiás is in second place in the Brazilian Championship, with nine points, but it already has three games postponed in the competition. Enderson Moreira’s debut will be next Sunday, in Goiânia, against Santos, for the 13th round of Serie A.
