Globoplay wins the Caboré award | Media and Marketing

Globoplay received the Caboré Award, the most important in communication in Brazil, in the category Communication vehicle – Media platform. The ceremony was held this Wednesday (2) in São Paulo.

Grupo Globo’s streaming service competed for the award, considered the Oscar of communication in Brazil, with Spotify and Verizon.

What an honor, what a joy. Unfortunately I am not with you, but my heart is with you. It was a difficult year for Brazil, for humanity, but it was also a year of many achievements for Globoplay. We finished 2020 three times more than we started 2019, in terms of subscribers. We are producing increasingly daring content, we are providing quality entertainment to the Brazilian audience. For the first time, the event was broadcast live on the Internet, with a signal open to the public.

Considered one of the main awards in Brazilian advertising, Caboré honors professionals and companies that contribute to the development of communication, marketing and the media in the country. The award was created in 1980 by Grupo Meio & Mensagem. The winners are chosen by open voting to the publication’s subscribers, via the Internet, and are audited by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
