The United Kingdom and Germany have announced that they will begin testing vaccines against the new coronavirus.
One more hope comes from Germany. The government approved the first clinical trials of a vaccine against the new coronavirus. Two hundred healthy people will participate in the first phase. Scientists want to verify the development of an immunity and include more people in the tests in a second moment. But the president of the vaccination institute warned that it will take months for any vaccine to be approved and reach health posts.
In the UK, researchers are already testing another vaccine this Thursday (22). One of the scientists at Oxford University said that if all went well, the doses would be available to the public in the fall, spring in the southern hemisphere. The lab is already producing the vaccine on a large scale during testing, and has risked throwing it all away if the product fails.

But it was the British government that decided not to participate in these purchases in February.
The Pope prayed for the European Union. It was the second time in ten days that Francisco expressed concern about the block. He called for the fraternal unity that the founders of the European Union dreamed of.
One of the protagonists of the divisions is Spain. The Spanish government has asked the bloc to borrow jointly in the financial market. But some countries did not agree with Pedro Sánchez and want to seek financing on their own. The Prime Minister of Spain asked Parliament in Madrid for the third time to extend the general confinement until the 9th. He said that the government will begin to relax the restrictions from the second half of May.
