Geoff Keighley announced Summer Game Fest 2020, a season of digital events, in which several new features will be revealed.
This event season will begin in May and end in August, and will consist of events prepared in collaboration with publishers, in-game events, and playable content.
As shared, Summer Game Fest 2020 will feature revelations from 2K Games, Activision Publishing, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bethesda Softworks, Blizzard Entertainment, Bungie, CD Projekt Red, Digital Extremes, Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Private Division, Riot Games, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Steam, Square Enix and Warner Bros. Interactive entertainment
Keighley says that the Summer Game Fest 2020 will serve to celebrate the video game industry in these uncertain times, during which virtual worlds connect isolated people in the real world.
Access to demos through PS Store, Xbox Live and Steam will also be part of these special events and each presentation will be broadcast on different platforms such as YouTube and Twitch.
