Anitta shared with her followers moments of a small party with friends to celebrate the New Year after performing in Times Square in New York.
In pink pajamas with Moschino teddy bears, the singer posted stories on her Instagram singing “Amor de Que” by Pablo Vittar, along with stylist Janelle Renèe, who is not Brazilian. In the caption of the video, she wrote: “I didn’t teach the gringa Pablo Vittar to sing, did I?”
Anitta also accompanied the traditional ball drop in Times Square from the building. In 2020, due to the new coronavirus pandemic, one of the main tourist spots in New York was practically empty.
Together with his friends, he sang “New York, New York”, a famous song with the voice of Frank Sinatra.
Anitta even showed an “accident” by opening a confetti launcher, which hit her leg. “That hand … exploded on my leg,” he says in English.

In a short presentation accompanied by four dancers, Anitta performed with hits like “Me gusta”, “Vai malandra” and “Downtown”.
It was one of the attractions of “Happy 2021!”, Univision Special, the world’s largest Spanish-language station, based in the United States. The event was broadcast live on US television, on the Univision app and on Univision NOW.
The special also featured performances by Pitbull, Gloria Gaynor and Andra Ray, in addition to other remote performances, due to security protocols.
