‘Landless’ says Brazilian cousin killed in attack in Nice, France
On Thursday, a 21-year-old man entered a church in Nice, beheaded a woman and killed two others. It was the second knife attack in two weeks in the country.
The attacker is a 21-year-old Tunisian. The police shot him and he was admitted to a hospital.
In the following days, investigators began detaining people who had had contact with the perpetrator of the attack.
The latest arrests were of two men from the city of Grasse, near Nice, according to the BFM television network.
According to the French prosecutor’s office, the attacker arrived in Europe on September 20, on the island of Lampedusa, near Tunisia.
In Italy, researchers are following in the footsteps of man. It is believed that from Lampedusa he went to the city of Bari. There, he received an order to leave the country that he did not comply with; the attacker allegedly went to Sicily, an Italian island, and after ten days.
