“For not ideologically agreeing with the affiliate, the PL ordered its withdrawal,” says the statement signed by the party, reinforcing the position against any type of apology for racial, religious and social discrimination.

According to the Electoral Justice System, the 58-year-old professor entered the PL on March 31 of this year. The announcement of the tender under the name of Pugliesi was presented on September 28 in the 55th Electoral Zone. Until 1 pm this Friday, his name was active on the TSE website and there were no changes in the application status.

The president of the Electoral Commission of the Santa Catarina Bar Association (OAB / SC), Paulo Fretta, explains that the status of the registration process for Pugliesi’s candidacy is still being analyzed by the district electoral judge.

“One of the mandatory requirements for the registration of candidacy and, consequently, to participate in the elections, is to have a valid and regular party affiliation. And so it must remain until the date of the election, since you have already requested registration linked to the photo caption and competes under the association number. With the unsubscribe request, you no longer have this mandatory requirement “, he explains.

Also according to Fretta, the situation will be assessed in the decision of the Electoral Judge of the registry of candidacies. Then most likely your enrollment will be declined.
