The greatest in the history of women’s MMA showed once again that it is still sovereign. In the co-main event of UFC 259, held in the early hours of Saturday through Sunday, in Las Vegas (USA), Amanda Nunes simply annihilated Megan Anderson in 2m03s of fight to clinch the victory by submission with one arm arm. With the result, La Leona, who also holds the bantamweight title (up to 61kg), maintains her featherweight belt (up to 66kg).

Amanda came in ready to settle down quickly. Disregarding the Australian’s wingspan advantage, Leone dictated the pace, hitting Anderson with a bomb to the right, putting the challenger on the ground and setting up an inverted triangle before going to the armbar for a quick finish.
