Juan stayed in Ecuador because the plane, which has special equipment and a specialized crew, only has capacity for eight passengers. The seven athletes traveled -Diego, Filipe Luís, Bruno Henrique, Michael, Isla and Matheuzinho- and the doctor Marcio Tannure, who could help with some assistance if necessary. The quick solution was praised by Conmebol.
With the availability of the plane, which has a high charter cost, Juan will not need to stay 14 days in Ecuador to comply with the quarantine.
