Flamengo has paid more than R $ 1 billion in debt since 2013, according to financial statements.

By disclosing the financial status of the 2020 season on the transparency portal, Flamengo reached a relevant figure related to the payment of debts. According to the current document and the old versions published, between 2013 and 2020, Rubro-Negro has already paid more than R $ 1 billion in debts.

The figures are related to the actions of former president Eduardo Bandeira de Mello and the current president, Rodolfo Landim. In total, Flamengo paid R $ 1.06 billion, being R $ 876 million under the command of Bandeira and R $ 184 million under the management of Landim.
