Flamengo agreed to sign a pledge for their youth teams. The club has an agreement with striker Andrey, 16, who was on the team that competed in the Carioca Championship for Volta Redonda.
The young man signed a contract until December 2022 and even posed in the red and black shirt. Flamengo still solves the last pending bureaucratic problems in order to officially announce the hiring.

After playing the São Paulo Junior Cup, Andrey joined Voltaço’s professional cast for Carioca. He never made it to the field, but he was on the bench in two games, one of them only against Flamengo.
Andrey will turn 17 on July 23 and join Flamengo’s under-17 team. Despite the success, it is still not possible to know when he will start working at the club. This is because the red-black base categories still do not expect to train again in Ninho do Urubu; after the end of the holidays, the athletes follow at home a training program prepared by the respective technical commissions.
