Flamengo had great chances of joining the Atlético-MG leader. The team, however, did not do its homework. The cariocas had a poor performance and were nothing more than a frustrating 1-1 draw with Atlético-GO, in Maracaná. Bruno Henrique opened the scoring and Zé Roberto gave the final numbers to the duel.
With the tie, Flamengo reaches 36 points and falls to the 4th position of the Brazilian Championship. Rubro-negro will return to the field on Wednesday, when he will visit São Paulo, in Morumbi, in the second leg for the quarterfinals of the Brazil Cup – the Cariocas lost their first game 2-1, in Maracanã. For the Brazilian, the next opponent is Coritiba, on Saturday, in Rio de Janeiro.
Atlético-GO, meanwhile, is going to 24 points and remains in 14th position. The team faces Sport, on the 23rd, on the Ilha do Retiro.

Flamengo had difficulties to reach the rival goal.
