This Friday of Christmas, the dogs of the Fire Department with the support of the Ciopaer Helicopter of the Military Police carried out the second day of searches for the 2-year-old boy, Héctor, who remains missing. Yesterday he was seen, for the last time, near the farmhouse, on the banks of the MT-449 and near the Río Verde Foundation. The dogs sniffed their way back to the road and did not advance, indicating that the boy was supposed to have followed them to the track.
The parents and the child live in Campo Novo dos Parecis and went to Lucas to spend Christmas with the child’s grandmother. This Wednesday afternoon, around 3 in the afternoon, on Christmas Eve, there would have been a power outage, the father and mother went out to solve the problem and the child would have disappeared.
Despite the anguish and suffering of parents and other family members on Christmas Day, there were gestures of solidarity. About 100 people, volunteers, also helped by searching the area planted with soybeans and extended the ‘sweep’ to about 3,000 meters, to the banks of the Verde River. It recently rained on the site and searches continue this Saturday morning.
The Civil Police investigates the case.
