A fight between young people in a shopping center in the Boa Vista I neighborhood, in Vila Velha, became a police case this Saturday afternoon (24). According to information from the establishment’s security team, two teenagers, who would be from neighboring neighborhoods, had scheduled to meet at the local food court to resolve a dispute.
The two exchanged blows, but were repressed by the security guards of the shopping center, who called the Vila Velha Municipal Guard and the Military Police. Dozens of people gathered around the confusion. Videos of the fight soon went viral on social media.
The Military Police and the Shopping Vila Velha council deny that shots were fired inside the establishment. Some messages even associated an article from 2018 published by A Gazeta that, coincidentally, on October 24 of that year, reported a shooting in the parking lot of the place.
In a note, Shopping Vila Velha reinforced that, “unlike what has been published on social networks, there was no record of firearm shots during the incident this Saturday afternoon. Those involved were taken from the shopping center immediately and the police were already taking measures in relation to what happened. Shopping Vila Velha has security teams that monitor the entire shopping center during the operation. “
