No one can deny the lack of excitement in recounting the American elections, which are more like a Superbowl final. The outcome is not yet defined, as some key states have yet to be closed. Democrats hold out hope for a Biden turn, especially since the votes that need to be counted are mostly by mail. And there are some weird jumps, as we can see:
But the result was not great for the Democratic Party in general. They lost 4 seats in the House, they won one in the Senate. And the president’s decision will be on the photochart. In the newsrooms of the main media, Trump lost 99.9% in favor of Biden (I say this because there must be a hidden conservative, who cannot admit). But in American polls the hole is much smaller, of course.
The media and research institutes are, once again, the big losers in this election, their credibility pickled once and for all. Now imagine that this result so far has been with: 1. mass media massacre against Trump; 2. demagogic use of the pandemic; 3. muffled performance of the Biden scandal; 4. Social networks censoring conservatives. Under normal conditions of temperature and pressure it would wash. Trump!
The risk of fraud cannot be ruled out. Counts stopped in key states that Trump was leading. And we had these strange gaps, as I already showed. Incompetence or fraud? The risk is not negligible. And it should end up in court, as Trump has already threatened.
Another lesson from the elections: Trump could have been less toxic, boastful, so as not to drive away the “suburban mother.” I understand the revolt with dishonest media attacks. I understand feeding the militancy with “halves.” But he loses votes with that position. You can deliver the message without the excesses. And then I too would have better chances …
