Fernando Diniz reinforces Lugano’s wish and says that having Cavani in São Paulo “is not a utopia” | Saint Paul

– There is no Cavani utopia in São Paulo. Brazilian clubs have already fulfilled the conditions to bring great players to Brazilian soccer. Daniel has a market in Europe until today – said Fernando Diniz, participating in the TV Gazeta Round Table program last Sunday.

Diniz admits, however, that there is a financial difficulty in realizing this dream:

– There is always the possibility. I don’t know if São Paulo will bring it or not, financial engineering is always difficult, but sometimes things happen. If he could come, of course we would be very happy.

At Radio Club Octubre, from Argentina, Lugano was asked about the possibility of Cavani closing with Boca Juniors, but, among some laughs, he put São Paulo as a candidate to sign the 33-year-old scorer.

– I think, before Boca, he comes with me to São Paulo. I’ve been talking about this for a long time, years ago, it’s not new … what am I going to answer? What do you think? – said Lugano, today superintendent of institutional relations in São Paulo.
