Identifying herself as the girlfriend of cartoonist Marco Antônio Rosa Borges, 54, a woman identified as Clarice Silvestre, confessed to the police of the São Gabriel do Oeste municipality, 140 kilometers from the capital, that she had murdered the cartoonist.
According to the Campo Grande News, the woman went to the military police crying.
Clarice, who is a masseur and the person with whom the victim would have left the house, on Saturday morning (21), to meet, confessed to having stabbed Marco. He then claims to have dismembered and set the victim’s body on fire.
When confessing, the woman also revealed the place where the body was dumped, divided into three suitcases, in Jardim Corcovado, south of the capital.
Still, according to the report, the suspect also said that after committing the crime, he went to his son’s home in Campo Grande, after having traveled to Coxim, 260 kilometers from the capital, to say goodbye to his daughters. To turn herself in, the woman decided to go to the police in the neighboring city, São Gabriel do Oeste.
Still, according to her, before committing the crime, the two had argued.
In Campo Grande, a team from the DEH (Specialized Commissary for the Suppression of Homicide Crimes) has already been notified and has gone to São Gabriel to look for the confessed murderer. The report found that the remains of the body were located at the address indicated by the suspect.
