The newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, responsible for the editorial “a very difficult election” on the second round of the 2018 electoral process, published this Sunday morning (22) the note “this is not a time for adventures” on the dispute between Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) and Bruno Covas (PSDB) for the city of São Paulo.
The note says that Bruno Covas supposedly carried out a good administration in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, even with more than 40 thousand deaths and countless companies bankrupt in the São Paulo capital.
The publication of the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo goes on to say that “Bruno Covas showed qualities” while Boulos is “a candidate still without experience.”
“The São Paulo election next Sunday will have, on the one hand, Mayor Bruno Covas, candidate for renewal, tested in the most difficult conditions possible – a pandemic and a severe economic crisis – and, on the other, Guilherme Boulos, a candidate still without experience in public administration and who, in addition, represents a left party that in its program proposes a reckless change in the economic model, ”says the first paragraph of the text, which ends by asking for votes for Covas. “We recommend voting for Mayor Bruno Covas.”
