Felicio, from PSDB, was re-elected this Sunday (15) mayor of São José dos Campos (SP) for the next four years. The victory was in the 1st round.
With 100% of the votes counted, Felício obtained 204,800 votes, which corresponds to 58.21% of the valid votes compared to 56,122 votes for Colonel Eliane Nikoluk, second place with 15.95% (see the full count in the city).
Felicio attends his second term as head of the municipal executive between 2021 and 2024. During the campaign, the polls already pointed to the broad advantage of the toucan over his opponents, which was consolidated at the polls this Sunday.
In addition to Felicio, the candidates were Coronel Eliane Nikoluk (PL), Dr. Cury (PSB), João Bosco (PCdoB), Luiz Carlos (PTC), Marina do Psol (Psol), Professor Agliberto (Novo), Raquel de Paula ( PSTU), Renata Paiva (PSD), Senna (PSL) and Wagner Balieiro (PT).
Felicio’s current management was marked by works such as the construction of the cable-stayed bridge, Via Cambuí and the implementation of the UBS Resolve program, in addition to the resumption of works on a sports stadium.
Among the main challenges for the next administration are the tender for the public transport concession and the implementation of Linha Verde, a road corridor that will connect the eastern and southern regions.
São José dos Campos is the largest electoral registry in the region with more than 540 thousand voters.
The São José election had a 26.87% abstention, 4.90% white votes and 6.09% invalid votes.

Felício Ramuth is 52 years old and this is the second time he has run for election. The first had been in 2016, when he beat little PT Carlinhos Almeida and arrived in Paço.
Previously, he had already served in previous municipal administrations, as President of Urbanizadora Municipal (Urbam), Secretary of Transportation and Planning and Communication Advisor in the governments of Emanuel Fernandes and Eduardo Cury in São José dos Campos.
Born in São Paulo, the toucan is married and has a daughter. Felício Ramuth has a degree in Administration with a postgraduate degree in Public Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He has been a member of the PSDB since he was 23 years old.
