Citizens who receive retirement, pension or are enrolled in the Continuous Benefit Benefit (BPC) await the processing of the legislative suggestion (SUG) No. 15/2020, proposed by Jefferson Brandão Leone – BA, which establishes extra subscription for the amount of R $ 2 thousand.
Since its creation, the measure has already collected more than 26 thousand signatures in favor of its implementation. Currently, the document is pending analysis by the Human Rights and Participatory Legislation Commission (CDH), being received by the senator and rapporteur, Paulo Paim (PT-RS).
Understand the proposal
During the period of public calamity, retirees, pensioners and insured of other benefits of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) can receive an additional amount at the end of the year. This is the extra allowance in the amount of R $ 2,000.
The benefit will be aimed at policyholders who receive up to three minimum monthly wages. The group of people served by the municipality is one of the most affected as a result of the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, since it was left out of payments related to emergency aid.

In addition to the SUG, there is another emergency subsidy proposal in process, this time in the Chamber of Deputies. The measure, presented through Bill 4644/20, is in charge of Congresswoman Sâmia Bomfim (PSOL-SP) and other party representatives.
The objective is to credit a lump sum of R $ 1,045 to formal workers who meet the necessary conditions to receive the benefit, in addition to retirees and pensioners of the RGPS (General Social Security System), beneficiaries of the BPC (Benefit of Benefits). Continued) and RMV (Monthly Income for Life).
